Swim Meet Event Order Card: We've had a cheapo version of this on the website for a while. But, thanks to Anita Stewardson, we now have a nice-looking, laminated card for your wallet! The card lists the meet event order on one side and our season schedule on the other. And it looks cool! We'll be selling them in the snack bar starting this week for $1, which all goes to the teamTake a look at the card: PDF

Parent Meeting Info: What follows is a summary of information given at tonight's parent meeting:

- Being a member of the swim/dive team means that the athlete is expected to be at every practice and swim meet - the ENTIRE meet. If your athlete cannot be, the parent needs to notify the coach 24 hours in advance by email. If an emergency arises, please call the coach. If you have to leave a swim meet early, please notify the coach. Here are the coach's contact info.

- It is district policy that ALL student athletes must ride the provided school bus to AND from our away swim meets. If you need an exception, please notify the coach 24 hours in advance. Generally there will be no bus service for weekend or out-of-town meets.

- If your child hasn't submitted their clearance card, please have them do that at the school's finance office right away.

- The coaches and/or team captains may periodically/spontaneously schedule social events (dinner out, beach day, etc.). These are not school-sanctioned events and are optional.

- All swim/dive families are asked to raise $100 through a direct donation or by selling opportunity drawing tickets at $1 each. Any tickets over 100 can be used toward other purchases such as t-shirts, suits, goggles, warm-ups, or even the banquet. Your support helps the team cover expenses (pool, refs, coaches, equipment, etc.).Athletes with financial hardships are asked to speak with Coach Gaeir or Coach Elgas for other options. The $100 donation is NOT mandatory for participation on the team.We also ask that every family obtain a prize that can be given in the raffle drawing.Thank you for your support!- All information regarding shirts, uniforms, equipments, etc. can be found here.

- Please keep up on your child's grades, as a grade below 2.0 for the upcoming grading period will disqualify them from participating in swim.
- Sore shoulders are very common in swim - especially at the beginning of the season. Ice is recommended - 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.
